Spindles Town Square is the main indoor shopping centre in Oldham town centre, located on George Street close to the bus station. The Wheatsheaf Shopping Centre
The Wheatsheaf Shopping Centre was a multi-storey indoor shopping centre on Baillie Street in Rochdale town centre, anchored in earlier years by Argos, Wilkinson, New Look, TJ Hughes and Peacocks. The centre lost its anchor tenants progressively from 2017 onwards and has been permanently closed as a retail destination since the Covid-19 lockdowns of 2020, with approved plans to convert its upper floors into a banqueting hall and events venue.
